This little ash vaccum is amazing! It has tons of sunction and the ashes really do stay inside. I have kept my pellet stove clean and clear of ashes. The only thing I will say is to make sure to get an extension cord when you purchase the item as the cord is not long enough. Otherwise, I highly recommend- it is easy to use, easy to store and very good quality.

I really wanted to give this vacuum five stars because of the size and because of the suction power when I first used it. However, it quickly fills up with Ash and lose his suction quickly. When the suction is compromised, it still picks up the ash, but you need to empty it pretty much after every use. Again the size is nice and compact so it stores easily, You just need to empty it out more frequently.

Power cord too short, filter collapses and clogs quickly. If there are any solid coals the wand and hose clog. Couldn't vacuum ash from one fire in the wood stove without these problems.

I love this ash vac. I have a Pellet stove and it’s my main source of heat in PA. As long you clean the filter it’s reusable. I usually put it in a bag and shake the ash out. Also rinsing with water comes clean. I would love if this company had replacement filters. Make sure you use the top grade pellets. I’m a woman living in the woods so I learned the hard way burnt pellets wasted. The pellet stove is for 1200 feet of heating. I vacuum 2x a week.

This Ash Vac is all it says it is and more. We love it. We have a pellet stove and use it a lot. Easy to clean, and small enough to store out of the way.

This little can vacuum is great to keep in a small closet (out of sight) to be easy accessible when needed. I was tired of using my larger shop vac and then smelling “campfire” every time I used it regardless of deep cleaning. So I opted to buy this little guy. It cleaned the ash out of the fireplace pretty quickly but definitely not at the power of a true shop vac. It got the job done.Biggest concern it that the motor does get pretty hot while running it, so for bigger jobs I would be careful and take breaks to let it cool off.

I bought a pellet stove with a very small ash pan. This lil vacuum is perfect for it. It has great suction and doesn't let any dust out. It's hose is metal lined along with the can itself being metal, and gives me confidence that I won't accidentally start a fire. The tool for the hose is also metal and kinda smashed so that it fits well in my ash pan. The whole machine is very small and easily managed. For the money, I think it's a good deal. I would recommend it!
