Everything worked as it should but they send localite with to use and it was everywhere I was able to clean it up and I had some of my own but was a mess

Installed easily and works well. I wish it provided a bit more resistance for a slower tailgate drop but it’s as better than the last brand i ordered for sure. Recommended.

Easy install, worked well at first. But when it got cold -25 it started only working at half the tailgate movement. Then it started leaking. And of course no longer works. Got one from the dealer and it works fine even in the cold.
