I think these lights work well as discrete indicators. They are pleasingly small but it’s easy to see them when they illuminate, even in bright sun. There are 5 different colors to choose from. I used the red one in my motorhome to indicate when the brakes were engaged on the car I was towing. (See picture). Just wire 12volt DC into them and enjoy.

These are as advertised. They seem well made and suited out purpose exactly.The specifications on the page say 12 to 24 VDC, and they work fine at 12 VDC. The 5 W specification may refer to the power at 24 VDC which would be about 0.2 A, so very low power consumption.

The jam nuts that secure the light are the wrong size and jumping the threads. It’s obviously loose and they are impossible to snug up when you try. You get what you pay for, I guess.

Very nice little set! Smaller than your May think, but in a good way. If you’re looking at these, they are easy to install; drill appropriate size holes, feed wires, verify + and - (red needs to be hot and black is ground), solder wires together and heat shrink.

They are a little smaller than I thought they would be. They did install very easy. The leads are like 22 gage wire.

Used one of these to provide indication when a 24VAC system is "on" and worked perfectly. Metal case and locking nut is superior to plastic and getting all the different colors for the the price is a great value!
