We recently bought this youth catcher's gear set, and overall, we’re really impressed with the quality. The gear feels solid and provides great protection, which is exactly what you need for a catcher. The padding is thick and comfortable, and the helmet, chest protector, and shin guards all seem well-made and durable, offering peace of mind during those tough games.That said, it’s a little on the expensive side for how quickly it starts showing signs of wear. After just a few games, we've noticed some scuffs and minor damage, which is to be expected with any active sport, but still a bit frustrating given the price. I really hope the set lasts a long time because I can already see it getting a bit beat up in the first season.If you're willing to invest in high-quality gear and you're okay with the potential for wear and tear over time, this is a great choice. But just keep in mind that while it’s fantastic in terms of protection and comfort, the cost may feel a bit high for how much it takes a beating. Fingers crossed it holds up for the long haul!

My 13 year old loves these shin guards. And the chest protector seems like an upgrade over his old one. But the helmet was WAY too small. Not sure how that fits any kid that is the size of the other gear in this set. We ordered the next size up helmet and it was too big. So not sure what to recommend for ya there. We kept the set, but will be getting a helmet from a different brand I guess.

Would give it a higher rating but, the helmet was way too small and the chest protector was way too larger. The kits should be sized more appropriately. Besides that the gear is of high quality and would recommend it, but purchase all individually

This gear is amazing. At first, it looks huge! But once you get it adjusted, it doesn't seem so big. It fits my 9 year old perfect. We so a lot of blocking drills and, according to him, the guards are very comfortable. He loves it!
