the chest protector is really good but the rest sucks. the knee pads are uncomfortable and i cant move good in them. the helmet hurts my head

My son is in 10U a bit under average size but moves well behind the plate, blocks almost everything in the dirt. He said that he doesn't feel a thing knocking a ball down with his chest protector.

Lo compré para mi hijo de 9 años, le quedó un poco grande pero con la intención de que lo pueda usar por lo menos hasta los 12 años. Los materiales se ven resistentes y la combinación de colores está muy padre. Las correas se sujetan con broche de metal y trae una protección adicional para colocar en el peto. Confío en que aguantará el uso normal de los partidos.

Helmet is too small. It hurts the side of his head. We have another helmet. That is actually 6 3/8-7 and hit fits him much better. Going to send it back

Overall I'm really happy with this purchase. I feel like this has lots of safety features for kids - including extra padding in the chest area for the heart. It also looks great. The one nit - which other folks mentioned is that the mask is a bit on the narrow side. It's fine for my 8 year old, but I could see a kid with a slightly wider head finding it really uncomfortable.

This is made of highly grade material not that cheap plastic. It does a great job in protecting the catcher. My son love this set. It’s fits my 8 year old son and he has room to grow into it for a few more years. I highly recommend this set.
