I think these things are just the coolest! I installed my own backup camera with the help of YouTube university and a mechanical uncle and these things made it a breeze. I was able to find the wire, tap into it with one side, and then add the backup camera wire on the other, clamp it down and connect and it worked like a charm. Definitely a helpful tool for adding a random accessory or two to your vehicle.

Works great, super simple. But keep in mind, they dont come in an organized box like is shown.Mine just came in a plastic bag all mixed up.

I used this item to connect the positive wire that allows the reverse light on my car to switch on when I shift into reverse with my dashcam. Once I found that positive wire, all I needed to do was put the wire inside one of this quick splice pieces. They allow a connection to be made between two positive wires. Once you clip the quick splice piece to the wire you need to connect to, you can use the included tap connectors to connect to the wire you needed to splice. A simple crimp and you are done. The set comes with multiple different connections based on the gauge of the wire you need to quick splice into. Took me about 2 minutes to complete the process. Highly recommend, and the set comes with 60 different connectors, so you will always have extras when you need.

Not water proof and not soldered. But very quick 'n easy tap in. I smear 'em with dielectric grease and then tape 'em up. Pretty ingenious and very cheap! Price a 3-way butt connecter and pay for better quality, but these will do for my needs.
