Pretty niche I'm sure, but I bought a few connectors and spend a long time online trying to find a replacment cable. (Thanks for your idiotic naming Motorola). This connector is it.Only drawback - you can't fit a very thick gauge cable into the pins. Still the Ace only pulls 0.5A or so from 12V, so its not like you need a.c. wiring thicknesses.

3 stars because I need it for 18 gauge connectors and I don’t feel it is sturdy enough for quality 18 gauge wire. Would be 5 stars if I was using 20 gauge.

Great male end connectors, just exactly what I ordered and fit perfectly in my wiring configuration.

I bought this for a truck cap third light/cargo light application. In my experience 18 awg is too big for these pins. The female square opening pins go into the smaller plug and when properly inserted fit almost flush with the end of the plug. They also go in keyed so you need good vision and lighting to see what you're doing. The male pins fit into the larger end of the connector and when snapped into place are still maybe 3/16" recessed from flush. Good the kit came with three sets to allow for trial and error waste. Instructions would be nice. A proper crimper is also a must. If you're doing any quantity get the Molex crimper. The .062 Molex connectors are much easier to work with and accommodate higher AWG sizes.

Soldering does not work. Unless the wire-crimp portion of the pin is squashed down on the wire correctly, the pin-lock tang inside the housing will not lock the pin into place. Otherwise, the kit of three connector sets is perfect. Unlike some pin-connectors that accommodate soldering or using not-quite-right crimpers, this connector system will frustrate you.
