14 gauge on one side but 16/18 gauge on the other. Just so you know. I needed 14 and 14 so had to trim the inside wire to match the connector's plug.

These are great for installing light fixtures, only draw back is most fixtures have stranded wire. If the fixture has stranded wire applying solder to the wire will stiffen it for inserting into the connector. One side of the connector has one port each, the other has two ports each. If the fixture has two sets of wires using the two port side is convent. If the switch feeds a second light fixture, then using the two port side to series the fixtures works great also.
