Works fine remember to re check tightness before repowering circuit. Used wher power drop would be swaped a few weeks later .

I used these to splice into some 6awg wire. I wanted to extend an existing 240v plug in my garage, without running new wire all the way back to the panel, and while keeping the existing plug. So I was connecting three wires for each conductor: Load + plug 1 + plug 2.They give a solid connection and are easy to work with. My EV charger is very happy and I'm getting full amperage through my wires.These things are large. I had three 6awg current-carrying wires and one 10awg ground wire to splice. That meant 12 wires total in the box: 4 coming in, 4 going out to plug 1, and 4 going out to plug 2. I needed a 6x6x4 box to contain them, and I had to be deliberate about how I folded the wires into the box.

So much cheaper than big box or other suppliers, and of very good quality. Used to splice 3x 3/0 copper cables for a system I just did, and yes, there's a dab of grease in each position (still added my own anti-ox to wire).

I installed each on be into it’s own gang boxes (3). Simple to use. Came pre greased. Took my Flir camera and after 2 days checking for any abnormal heat I finally was satisfied of the connection and put the sheet rock back on the wall. No extra heat trace was detected, meaning it was tight on the connections.

This worked really good to connect two 6 AWG wires. I’m sure they could be used for smaller as well but these connectors really shine with large gauge where a good connection is a must. Comes with rubber caps that you can pierce and install on wire before inserting it into the connector for a more weather tight install. 👍👍
