All I can say is these ferrules worked as they should. The size was perfect for the gauge and the barrel crimped easily. I did have a bit of a challenge getting the wire insulation to fit in the plastic jacket; my wire had pretty thick insulation. I just whittled a bit off with a razor blade and it slipped right in.

I use many of these size crimps for my electronics projects. This is a great way to get the ones I use more often than the multipacks. Works good on my hex crimper.

Since discovering ferrules I've been using them on all my projects! The really keep the wires neat and protected. No more mashed up copper! It also helps with the conductivity at the terminal. These are just what you'd expect. The color choice is great as well!

This review is for the HKS brand 12 AWG insulated ferrule (grey). They worked and it was easy to get good results.

The ferrules are as described and there are a lot of them, too many for me to count. The quality is good, the jar with a screw lid keeps them from getting knocked to the floor and scattered, and they're pretty inexpensive too.

These are the proper size for 16 AWG wire, they crimped up well and stayed on when I tried to pull them off.The insulated portion of these is a little smaller in diameter than some other 16 gauge ferrules, this fits the insulation on the wire better and also works better with smaller size power blocks and connectors. You don't end up with the ferrules trying to push each other out of the way like can happen with bigger insulators. They also fit into the smaller power blocks a little deeper as the insulation fits into the opening in the power blocks insulation better. The container works well for keeping them in and allows you to grab them easier. They don't end up spilled everywhere like the ones that come in a plastic bag.I will have to keep this brand in mind the next time I need to order some.

I used these ferrules for some E-bike main power wiring projects. I used these for the end of the wire that goes into the breaker switch on my Surron. They worked great and fit my 6AWG EPDM insulated wire perfectly. They were also very easy to crimp using a ferrule crimper. If you want to use these ferrules, you should make sure that you buy the proper crimper because this makes all the difference in getting a solid connection. You can get a ferrule crimper for relatively cheap on Amazon. Just make sure you get the right size.Overall, I'm very happy with these ferrules. They work exactly as they should and are well packaged. 10/10 highly recommend these for DIY electronics projects. Especially E-bikes.

I am constructing a Solar system for my home and I have a bunch of 10AWG stranded PV wire that I needed to get terminated. These ferrules work pretty good. I have a Hexagon shaped crimper and these ferrules seem to be fairly decent. I compared these to the set of ferrules that came with the crimper. These new ones are a bit nicer. The walls are thicker and it’s a bit tougher. After crimping, the ferrules retain their shape and hold tightly.
