Spring is here and the lawn furniture needs a fresh coat of paint. These TPmax stripping discs worked perfectly for removing the old layer so the surfaces can be treated and ready for a fresh coat of paint. The construction of each of the 10 discs is good and will allow me to work some hard surfaces which cannot be stripped by hand and I don't want to use stripping chemicals.

These are absolutely amazing! Grinding rust removal discs. They are hard enough to remove a fair amount of rust and grime clean your metal up ready for welding but also soft enough not to take too much material away at a time. I am restoring a 50-year-old motorcycle at the moment and these are perfect for removing the old paint and rust ready for new paint. They are very durable and last a surprisingly long time. I think these are better priced than normal grinding flap wheels or sanding discs. And if you've never used them before, I strongly recommend you give them a try.

Wow... cant believe i waited so long to get some of these. I had a wire wheel for my grinder that i used for most stripping and general cleanup/stripping type tasks. It never worked that great, but I just figured that it was a slow process.I had a funky stain in a very old garage in a house I moved into. i suspect it was maybe years of dried, cured oil or something? Wire brush barely touched it.I threw one of these strip discs on the grinder, and within 5 minutes, i had the stain 75% gone and realized i should stop to take a pic for a review, because this was so much better! Now there is an awkward clean spot where there used to be an awkward dirty spot, but i prefer it.Its still a dirty, difficult, annoying task, but these make it so much faster.One thing to note is that these seem to break down a bit faster than i expected, and great some dust from that in addition to whatever you are grinding off. I believe that might be part of why they work so well, but it does mean that these are a disposable item. I got the entire stain off and touched up some other off stuff on my garage floor and the disc still has life in it though, so its not too bad.

We needed some abrasive disks to remove some obvious rust before we painted the metal gate, my husband found these easy to attach and use.. along with minimal effort to get the desired outcome, only having to use one pad with plenty of life left in the one too. Good value pack for the price and will go a long way for what we need. Yes I would recommend.

this is super abraisive i was really careful when using this as i was worried it was going to take everything out but i used this and then went over with a finer grit to smooth out the stuff before i painted and this worked really well at removing rust and paint for me

My 16 foot lowboy needed the paint and rust taken off of it and these worked very well . I didn't hurry as it's my personal trailer and it took 2 days to get the whole trailer done. I also talked to one of my friends that used a similar product to shine up old copper pipe in order to solder new pieces together. Worked very well and I only needed to hand sand a little. Normally I hand sand ,but this saved me time and the customer money. Two thumbs up on that one.

These 115mm paint/rust stripping discs are a perfect fit for my cordless angle grinder. Using a disc to remove loose paint and rust from our bistro set table and chairs proved very effective, without damaging the relatively delicate metalwork. The disc has proved to be impressively durable, with plenty of life left for my next project, making this five-pack decent value at just under £17 when reviewed.

These pads are exactly what I expected and seem to be put together pretty well. I've used mine to strip paint and light rust off of scrap steel prior to welding with good result. They have good bite and hold up about as expected.You will want to be mindful when using them to wear your protective gear and direct the debris away from you as much as possible when using

These stripping discs take off material fast. They are very aggressive and great for removing rust, but there is no way I would use them on wooden furniture or automotive work like the product photos suggest. They would be way too aggressive for that.If you need to clean up an old rusty hammer, garden tools, or other heavily corroded metal, these will work perfectly. They grind through rust and paint quickly and leave a clean surface behind. A solid choice for heavy duty stripping jobs.

I prefer to use stripping discs rather than wire wheels, mostly because the wire wheels tend to shed pieces of wire when in use. I have no idea what the “poly abrasive” material is that they use in these discs, but it works well for removing rust and paint. They also do not get clogged up with paint like a flap wheel or sandpaper disc tends to do.Blue discs are usually a medium abrasive; falling between the harder, more aggressive purple discs and the softer, less aggressive black discs. However, there is no established standard for stripping discs, so these may or may not be a true medium disc.These discs hold up well if you avoid tearing them on sharp corners, and the ten pack is an economical way to have some spares on hand.

These 115mm stripping discs are a real time saver for rust and paint removal. The 5 pack offers good value, and the blue poly abrasive is surprisingly effective. I used them on a rusty metal gate and was impressed with how quickly and cleanly they stripped away the corrosion without gouging the underlying metal. They work well with my angle grinder and the 22mm bore fit perfectly. They're a bit less aggressive than some other stripping discs I've used, which is actually a plus for delicate surfaces. I have used these Poly Abrasive Stripping Discs for removing paint and rust specifically from wood and metal and I can confirm that they are highly effective. The poly abrasive material ensures efficient grinding and consistent results. The durable fibre mesh construction provides excellent wear resistance and a long lifespan which is ideal for the practicality of this product. They fit perfectly onto my angle grinder (though please note they’re not compatible with Wagner Paint Eater or drills). The option to have a pack of 10 discs offers great value for heavy-duty tasks. However, they can wear down fairly quickly on very tough surfaces but to some extent this is expected.Overall, a reliable product for most stripping jobs and a reasonable price point of £37.99 (upon this review) for the quality of 10 discs. Therefore I do recommend these.
