Works well grinding hard aluminum. I melted truck wheels and did a pour into a wood project. had a lot of aluminum to grind off. i water using metal grinding wheels, wore out many wheels and burned up 4 grinders. Then learned of wheels for aluminum. Works really good, progress much faster now.

I used them on a 1/4 aluminum boat I bought, never load up, definitely the best grinding discs for aluminum I did a lot of grinding and modifications to it, I had to cut out old welds, about 20' worth of welds and as well as other spots I had to grind, only used like 5 discs, definitely would recommend
