This is a pretty solid scotchbright polishing wheel for my 4.5" Harbor freight angle grinder. There is some substance to this polishing wheel and it does not clog up too quickly when cleaning up carbon steel. I got these polishing wheels for prepping and shining up steel as I practice welding.

Like most cheaply made flap wheels they don't last long but they fit my grinder and put a great finish on my steel! They aren't too aggressive which is exactly what I was looking for. If you have a lot of material to remove these are not for you but for rust and surface scratches these are excellent value!

I have used mine to finish sharpening my mower blade and to prep a cabinet for painting: I want to remove paint without damaging any contours. It is working great for both purposes. I do not expect them to last long removing paint: there was clear wear after less than 5 minutes on the cabinets, but I did cover a fair amount of the doors.
