Like the listing says, these ropes are nice on the skin, which *may* make them good for bondage. The length is a little long for some things, like wrist tying, but they cut easily, and the ends can be burned to keep them from fraying. Because they're pretty slick and smooth, they are tied and untied easily.

These ropes were very nice to the touch almost like a silky feeling, but still able to get them tied and have good friction so they stay.

Been practicing for just a few hours and the rope already looks trashed, fraying mid-length in many spots. Also, beware the metal nubs which can hit you in the face if you’re not careful when pulling through. It’s also a fair bit thinner than I’d have liked.

I think these were a better option and value than using jute rope for my Christmas Cow Bell project . Best of all the silk rope in dark red is stunning .

This is a good product, just watch that the tip doesn't flail around when tying up... things.
