I got this to add to my dust collection system and it is a good quality hose that comes with 4 clamps so you can either double clamp it, which is not necessary or use the clamps, which have very convenient thumb screws on your other 2.5" hoses. If your shop is like mine, you have a lot of 2.5" connections and like clamps, you can never have enough hoses. These are great and I will get more!

Overall it was a pretty good dust hose. Fed up to my shop vac and cyclone pretty well. The wire coil is flexible and prevented kinking but was not too stiff and hard to fight. I also like that I could strip and tip of the wire and create a nice grounding circuit. The four hose clamps left a little bit to be desired. When clamping down, the end of the hose clamp after exiting the worm gear can hit the edge of the yellow twist knob if you're not careful in guiding it properly. Overall easy setup. Initial durability seems pretty good but longer use will tell for sure.

Clamps that come with it are good clamps. This is 2 1/2 inches and the first fitting in the phots is also 2 1/2 inches. It was a tight fit but I did get it to go on. The second fitting in the phots is 2 1/4 inches and this fit much easier on that. But This will and does work with 2 1/2 inch fittings and when doing wood working you want a snug fit. I am in the process of building my dream shop and while most of the runs will be 4 or 5" ducts, there are cases where you need 2 1/2 Inch branches as well. This will work nicely for my plans.

This hose came packaged very tight and it damaged clamps and kinked the hose. The hose is just average quality. It is not clear like others made in the USA. The thickness of the hose is not bad though. The hose coils tightly and does not stretch as easily as others on the market. The clamps are very cheap with sharp plastic twist tabs. The hose fits tightly and is sized correctly for dust collection adapters. The price is not great for the mediocre quality.

I'm using this as part of an overhead dust collection system and couldn't be happier with it. The hose is flexible, just a bit stretchy, perfectly-sized for mating with my 2.5" hose connectors, and comes with thumb-screwed pipe clamps. I also like that the hose is clear, which could make it easier to find dust traffic jams (that often require pulling things apart until the logjam is found).The only downside is that I ordered only one 10' section (to gauge its suitability). I'll be ordering more tonight, as soon as I check to see just what length I need.One last thought, if the supplier is reading... would be even more perfect is this set came with hose adapters. It's often a challenge to find connectors that fit right (how many size standard are there?!), so getting adapters *with* the hose could remove some hassle.

i installed this on my bench top Miter Saw to connect to a Shop Vac directly under it, under the work bench. it'd working great to help keep the sawdust to a minimum on my workbench.
