This is a pretty good leader hose for dust collection. The ends click in quite well. and this comes with lots of adapters. I use a bosch sander, and this fits fine in the port. It also works well on my router to catch chips. The ends also have a sort of relief valve to lessen the vacuum if for whatever reason you needed that.My only complaint here is the ends while interchangeable have a little bit of leakage. This means you can sometimes get a slight whistle which is annoying. I don't hear it when I have my headphones or hearing protection on, and really when using a dust extractor you should use hearing protection so this is only a minor annoyance.

Dust is the bane of all woodworkers, and I've tried all sorts of solutions to capture as much dust at the source as I can, but that can be a challenge when there are no real standards for dust collection ports on various tools. Between a couple sanders, a router, a circular saw, a track saw, a chop saw and a few other miscellaneous tools, none of them are quite the same.But this hose and adapter kit does about as good a job as could be expected. The hose is sturdy but flexible; the end of the hose that attaches to the vacuum fits snugly into the suction port on my Ridgid shop vac. And the adapters have a wide variety of sizes to fit different tools. The rubber portion of the adapter that fits over the tool's dust port is sturdy but flexible and grippy.The quick connect clip that connects the adapter to the hose (the thin blue ring on the black plastic end of the hose) does its job but feels a little lightweight--not so much in that I expect it to break, but it does feel like the weak link here in comparison to the rest of the kit, and if it does end up breaking, then this hose and adapter set becomes pretty much unusable, so I wish that they had designed a sturdier quick connect setup or at least included a spare blue quick connect clip/ring for backup purposes.Overall, I'm glad to have this in my dust fighting arsenal. I would recommend the manufacturer sell individual adapters as well, since it would be nice to buy adapters for each of my tools and be able to just leave them on the tools all the time while just switching the hose from tool to tool.

I was able to add quick connections to dust collection thanks to this kit! Super handy and good value. I felt like I hacked the system - not having to pay bigger bucks for Woodcraft, Kreg, or other bespoke kits. Palm sander, circular saw and track saws all from different makers could be made to work with this kit with minor (or no) adapters. Very pleased and hose is of good quality as well.

It would be nice if manufacturers can just agree on a standard size dust port for their products. Mainly use it on my orbital/ belt sanders which all have different port sizes to attach to my wet dry shop vacuum.

This is a perfect set for any woodshop. What I like about it is:- you end up with fittings that fit almost any tool- the fittings quickly release and attach- hose is fairly flexible and fit dust cyclone perfectlyIf you have a woodshop and want to add dust collection to sanders, saws, etc. This is a great option with its vast array of connectors and their ease of swapping ability.

I have tools from so many different brands and they all seem to have different size dust ports. Most of the adapters I've gotten have had a poor fit and would come out during use. So far this hose and adapter set has been a blessing. It has fit my Bosch metric sized fitting as well as the imperial ones from Dewalt, Ridgid, Milwaukee and Wen. The rubber of these adapters seems to hold into the ports much better allowing me to move and utilize the tools much more confidently. They are also easy to pop out of the hose and switch to a new one. This also comes in a a decent price, so it's a good deal as well.
