Typically I wouldn't write a product review before using it for at least several months. In this case I'm making an exception because I've been very impressed with this products. I purchased this primarily for measuring DC current without contact (NC). Most multimeters with current clamps in the lower price range don't measure DC current. This one does so with accuracy that seems consistently within 10% (at My only minor concerns are that the thumb wheel function selector is not necessarily ergonomic (something that could easily be corrected with a minor design change) and the provided batteries are not alkaline (which would have probably only added pennies to the cost in China where it is made). Otherwise, this looks like a great value for the price and so far I'm pleased with it.

I do small engine repair. I haven’t verified the accuracy of this meter, but the amp side of it is great. The inrush is easy to use and the large jaws easily fit over most wires I am checking. I typically am checking charging/starting systems on atv/mowers and this makes the job easier. For what I do, pinpoint accuracy isn’t vital.I probably won’t ever hook probes to it, as I have other meters I use for that purpose. Again I bought this for the amp measurements.

It measures DC amperage and screen light stays on for a long time which is a plus! I find it annoying with other device screen light would turn off on you during use and have to keep constantly turning it back on. Priced very reasonable for all the bell and whistle it is capable of and comes with.

As a DIY'er, I was reluctant to shell out big bucks for a "quality" clamp meter. I have a 12-year old heat pump, and I wanted to check the capacitor and install a hard start kit. My cheap multi-meter didn't measure capacitance, so I needed a clamp meter that would do that, plus measure INRUSH amps. This one fit the bill, at a very reasonable price, and I'm very happy with my purchase. (I realize a qualified technician might not give this 5 stars).
