Reduce splintering and tear-out, and keep small drop-offs from falling between the blade and wheels. These semi-rigid, plastic inserts snap in to replace your old, beat-up throat plate. Ideal for scrollwork, small or fragile parts, and woods prone to splintering, these inserts provide a solid base for your workpiece at very little cost. Will not dull your saw teeth.

I called Rockler and they said these inserts would fit my 10” Delta Band Saw so I ordered them. They do not fit. They are bigger than the opening. When I called Rockler back they said that the tables were the same size on all the 10”, 12”, and 14” saws so yes they would fit. They still don’t regardless of what they say. Total waste of money.

Fit perfectly in my old Rockwell 10” bandsaw. Easy to cut with the bandsaw.

I just cut a slot for the blade to go in, then used a Dremel to cut a half circle for the pin on the saw to align the insert. I needed to use a few light taps to even it to the table top and it was all set. There are five so I expect they will last a long time, very easy and fast way to have a zero clearance insert that fits well. Will buy again if these ever do wear out or get damaged due to abuse.

Although the large hole dimension was correct the underside had to be trimmed to fit into my Rigid 14 band saw. I was able to set up my table router and remove the extra plastic so it would fit my saw table. I was told it would fit my band saw but some assembly was required.

They fit my Delta Rockwell homecraft bandsaw with the 71 3/4" blade well. You do have to cut your own slot for the blade to fit. If your last one broke the way to do this is to cut a slot in a piece of scrap wood and use the wood as the table to cut a slot in the new insert. I cut the other four after I got the first one installed so I don't have that problem again

I've been needing these for months... they're a little tight on my saw, but a quick tap with a dead-weight hammer sets them in place, then they work great.
