Hard to put where they are needed. Camera cases just mess them up.

A must if you plan on riding around with your action cam. Installed these on two DJI Action 4 before heading out to Japan to take on the Tokyo street karting. It greatly reduced the wind noise and they remained in place even after it rained.RECOMMENDED

for me, these don't really work. The setup is these tiny double-sided circular pads that you stick onto the camera lining up with teh mic holes.. which are too close to the pop-up flash on the RX100 VII. So its probably not wise to count on using the flash with these. Then you stick the tiny dead cats puffs onto those pads. Putting the gimbal-mounted camera into a backpack and taking it out I noticed one of the dead cats had disappeared. While they give you plenty.. you now know why they give you plenty. If someone sold this pre-mounted to micro-precision mirco-thin metal inserts that fit into the microphone holes.. or screw-in slightly expanding teh holes.. I might be a customer. As it is, if audio is important I'll need to sue an external mic.

I use Walkers shooting earbuds that retract onto a horseshoe-shaped body that rests over the neck. Each earbud has a small hole with a microphone for doing the gunshot noise suppression as well as the ambient sound boost. When the wind blows across my head during hunting, the little mic holes can start whistling and causing hearing issues. These dead cat windscreen patches were perfect and fit exactly on the ends of my earbuds -- no more whistling, and in the forest, nobody will see how stupid it looks!

Total junk. The tape is NOT sticky and the little fur balls are falling apart. Don't waste your money on this one. Shame on Amazon for letting people peddle this junk. I doubt the people that sold this paid over 25 cents for what they are charging you $12 for!

I bought these for my RX1 hoping for a cheap solution. TLDR: Nope! That said, I'll start with the good. In an indoor environment when you have the fan blowing nearby on a hot summers day, light breezes will be masked well. However, with anything like this, when you put something over the mic, the sound will sound muffled a little but that you can't get around and I'm not docking any stars for that nor should anyone. When outside with no breeze and you're walking around, there is no difference from having these on or off. with a slight breeze, similar to indoor use, it does help a little but not by much from my experience. In slightly stronger winds, I didn't find any difference when speaking into the camera (voice quality) but it did reduce the clipping of noise from the wind a little. Adhesion is decent but I had to wipe down the surface with some alcohol wipes each time as even the smallest of dust will reduce the adhesion greatly due to little limited adhesion surface area. If you're like me and throws the camera in the bag, these things will come off easily as well. (I didn't think of that when I bought this initially). Lastly, they look ugly. I mean if they worked well, I would put up with it but they constantly remind me of nose hair sticking out. In the end, I just gave up after I lost one of the fuzzies and decided to spend the money on a proper mic for my needs. You get what you pay for. Would I recommend these? Not really. But it could still help some very specific people in specific situations so I was reluctant to give it a 1 star review.

We have used larger ones in the past that seem to work well but placing the double sided tape was always a hit or miss. However, with this one and it's individual round double sided tape for the round wind muffs are amazing. They stick well and you know exactly where you are placing over the mic. This have cut down our wind noise on our Canon G7Xii tremendously! Plus, they are easy to remove and replace when they get matted down. You get enough to do this at least 5 times. Will order more when we need them. Highly recommend!
