I bought a new (to me) house recently and It's gotten exceptionally cold this winter and I needed some additional insulation between my home and the garage, the cold just radiated through the door. A friend suggested this as an option and I'm sooo glad he did. You can feel by touching the door how much it works to block the cold from even reaching the door, let alone getting through it. I would gladly recommend it to anyone who just wants to save a few bucks each month on their winter power bill.

Excellent solution for blocking cold winter drafts. Installation was very easy and straightforward. The curtain material is thick and good quality and the Velcro and magnets are very strong. I could feel the reduction in the draft immediately.One important point - if you are installing this on an the interior side of the door and the door opens inward, you have to open it by opening the side Velcro part, and not the middle magnetized section, in order for the door to open. There is no problem using it this way, but it’s more time consuming and you need to use the big thumb tacks they provide to reinforce the Velcro that’s on the door frame.I deliberated for a long time before buying this product, but I’m glad I did and I wish I wouldn’t have waited so long. This winter has been very cold, and this curtain is definitely helps keep is warm inside.

Oh wow. I purchased this during the cold snap we had in this area. I only had a curtain and a draft stopper in front of the patio door before. I could feel the heat escaping every time the dog positioned herself in front of the door. I really like that there was velcro sewn onto the curtain. It makes it a lot easier to line up with the velcro positioned along the door frame. Best of all, it now stops drafts. The only drawback I see is that the curtain opens up in the middle and my patio door opens on the right hand side, the dogs have some difficulty getting in and out but we are working with it. I love that the magnets are strong enough to keep the curtain closed and the dog has not figured out how to open it. I don't foresee taking this curtain down for the summer months, as far as I am concerned it is up to stay year round. The material of the curtain is thicker than what you would think and it seems like it will be durable for the long run. I hope to get more of these in the future for my windows, the problem will be moving stuff away from the windows to do it.

Works when it stays up, but it will not stay up. Also does not work for doors that open inwards.

Lo escogí por el color, ya que en su gran mayoría de este tipo de puertas cortinas magnéticas viene en colores muy obscuros. Lástima que en cuestión de antiruido, deja mucho que desear.

Buying this product i thought anything would be better than nothing in my RV. I could see from pictures, it wouldn't be ideal measurements wise and coming in and out through it, but I needed something.Little did i know, how TRULY AMAZING THIS PRODUCT IS! WARMTH IMMEDIATELY! COLOR WAS PERFECT FOR OUR INTERIOR! MAGNETS STRONG! SEWING JOB ON IT, PERFECT!Yes, it is a pain bringing to and from through it, but, THE WARMTH IS 5 STARS!!!EASY! SEALS AND HOLDS!HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I recently installed this on our back door off the eat in kitchen to the patio. In the winter there is a definite draft where the door is not properly sealed to the door frame. I've tried everything I can find to minimize the issue. I gambled and tried this Magnetic Thermal Insulated Door Curtain - and it's a WINNER! One star is taken off since the velcro backing doesn't really stick to the door frame. You must use the included tacks, but we need to add a few more to secure it at the bottom - which we haven't done yet.I can now open the back door and leave it open and feel nothing coming in! Now please note that the bottom is not secure so air does come in from the bottom, but the difference it has made has been fantastic.My husband finds it to be a pain when he's using the grill and fumbling to get through the door, but that's a minor inconvenience compared to the different it makes to the temperature of the eat in kitchen. The magnetic closure is fantastic! It definitely feels like a quality product.

I got this because I live in an older home that has this particular add on and the door leading to and from this room is not a door but one of those accordion style plastic “doors”. The add on room has no heat so cold air comes into my kitchen especially from the gap at the top , the whole thing is flimsy , no insulation at all from the cold in winter . This door quilt works wonders to stop the freezing air from chilling my kitchen & helps keep the heat pump from kicking in thus helping me save some money . I put this up by myself after reading the simple directions , I took my time getting the velcro strips nice and straight & for what it is isn’t that bad looking once it’s up . The size I ordered was a bit too long but I just just folded it up and still looks neatly done , in fact adds a little more insulation at the bottom of this odd size door way . I’m very happy I chose the cream color versus the grey because number one it blends in better in the space it’s in plus looks more homey , I’m glad I didn’t have grey as the only choice .

I needed this for my patio door, as it has a draft coming in from the bottom of the door. It was super easy to install and a great fit.Have it up for a few days now, and I'm very happy with the result...no more draft and it is much warmer in my living room.It is a good quality, thickness is great and the adhesive is also great.

We bought this about two weeks ago for our rv. It was very easy to put up but please read how or look it up on YouTube. The Velcro is very sticky and you don’t want to pull it off multiple times. The fabric is sturdy and the magnet closure is easy to get through but strong enough to close the gap behind you. Even my little dogs can go through easily. It makes a huge difference in the amount of air rushing in. Before we would notice a four degree drop when the door was opened. Now we don’t get any drop even if the door has been left open because the curtain closes itself. Now this is in cold temperatures in Canada. We haven’t tried it for summer yet. So far I’m very pleased with this purchase.

Worked as intended and advertised. Good strong adhesive and velcro. Seems built realitevly well. Does not work well with inside swinging doors. I had to slit it in half completely to use on my doors. Worked well tho with minor home modification in -50C weather. Would work best with patio sliding doors or outside swinging doors.
