Velcro sticks to wood, with tacks mind you. Velcro sticks to o Velcro. But the issue is the Velcro doesn’t stick to the screen. Maybe it should be sewn to the screen. Keeps falling down. I got what I paid for. Now I spend more money to make it work or buy different one…joy

The velcro strips wouldn't stay adhered to the edges of the mesh. Complete failure.

I liked that my twin toddlers are able to use this instead of getting their fingers caught in a screen door. Keeps out the flying insects very well. Easy to install and performance is exactly like advertised.

I have purchased this type of thing before but this one is terrible!!! The trim along screening is coming apart day one! Poorly and cheaply made.

The product was shorter than it should have been leaving a gap that is way too large at the bottom (I’m aware there should be a small gap). Mine is about 2-3 inches shorter than advertised. The width was correct. One important piece to note is that they do not give enough of the Velcro for a fully sealed edge. It only fully seals the top. You may want to buy additional Velcro for the sides or the supplier needs to start providing full side Velcro instead of 4 small pieces per side. The weight bag does have a small Velcro bit in the middle but the bag does not seal closed like many weight bags. The magnets have worked on mine but not nearly as effortlessly as advertised and if the wind is more than mild it is strong enough to pull the magnets apart. Be advised the magnets will attempt to attach to the garage door as you open and close it so that could potentially cause damage down the road. This net is not small enough to block out gnats but is small enough to block mosquitoes. Update: the product didn’t last more than two days before the Velcro fell down. It’s not strong enough to hold the weight.

This isn't a bad product but it was a pain to install given the size and placement. As the wind continues to blow it continues to deteriorate. Not sure I'll use it much longer.

CONS: Not sure if this was pre used but i feel like there wasnt nearly enough velcro adhesive that came with this. It works but magnets arent very strong so I purchased some stronger magnets that help keep the screen shut (although my toddler has discovered this and now likes to take them off b/c i dont have time to sew them in. Wish they made this a foot or two longer b/c it is short than I like. All sides are fraying and dimensions seem to be a little off.PROS: I tried two others prior to this screen and the adhesive on the others(some off brand dupe of magic mesh) and the adhesive was WAY TO STONG ripped off all the paint and now i have to patch sand it or pay someone too. Love that there is a velcro option that way you could move your screen a little if installed properly. I like the option to cut the sides for additional width if needed.

Love it . I can work in the garage all summer now . I think the magnets could be better but its pretty strong . Just doesn't close behind u with out adjustments. I use the velcro method and the tacs for hanging. Works great even on a windy day because the magnets stick to my metal garage door ! Alows me to open door a few feet for air and no bugs !❤🍻👏👏🎉

I bought the garage size "Magic Mesh" screen and another screen made by a competitor and it's impossible to overstate just how badly the Magic Mesh quality is compared to the other.-First off, the fabric appears to not square or not sewn right. This might improve over time as it hangs in the opening, but for now the seam in the center wants to hang with a gap...even after adjusting the top and sides several times.-The first problem might not be too bad, but the magnets are super-weak. When I put them right next to each other, they barely grab. So when you combine a seam that wants to hang open with a gap and weak magnets...well, you can guess how well this works.-The magnets are also enclosed in these cheap plastic things instead of being sewn into the seam. When I first opened the package, several of the little plastic things had opened up and the magnets were floating around free in the package. I snapped them back together...but I wouldn't expect them to last long term if they didn't even survive packaging.So...yeah. I'm returning it and buying a different brand. Save yourself the extra errand and just buy one of the other ones.

This is a love hate product for me. Installation aas simple and quick. I went with the tack method. I bought it with the expectation that no more bugs will be let through, of course it didn't turn out like that. Bugs WILL get through. If you walk through while they are hanging out by the door which they often are, or they'll get in by themselves through the spaces between the magnets. The spaces aren't large gaps, but they could have done better with the spacing of the magnets to ensure in a better fashion that bugs don't get through. One of the magnets got ripped off because it attached to the garage door while it was opening, you'd figure it would be built better taking that into consideration. The spacing to walk through is a bit narrow, too narrow for my liking. Remember, there are two anchors bags at the bottom to keep this thing weighted down (I have a brick in mine), so the entry really opens up to that point on the bottom (i believe roughly 2.5 ft on each side) and the top peaks like a tent. If you are working and going back and forth and carrying things, it can get real annoying going through a small spacing like that. Technically you could open it wider by just lifting the net, however the material is a bit flimsey and that weight will wear this thing out faster. The stitching could be much better. If you have an active door, this will definately fray within two years, maybe even one if you're care free with how you pass through the door. I'm very cogniscent on how i pass through and it is slightly fraying. All and all, less bugs are getting through which is why it's a love hate. Before I simply had to keep the door closed or 2 to 5 flies would be in every day. Now maybe 1 to 2 flies every two days. The other plus is I can open my garage and work without the nosey neighbors being able to look in. I'd really like to give it 3.5 though. I am relatively satisfied with this, but I will be looking for something else built a little more to my expectations and wants.
