These are regular mouth mason jars not wide mouth. Besides that the jars are fine.

I love these mason jars for decanting your pantry goods. Labels work great on these jars because they don't have all the raised lettering, that some do. Quality glass, solid.

Each jar is nicely packaged. The lid sort of "pops" a bit when you remove the lid. I do not use these for canning but rather for drinking out of, making my morning coffee etc. They are nice size to hold on to and easy to clean. I like the wide mouth on these as well.

Although they were smaller they worked out. I cut up 3 carrots, 1 potato and 3 sm. Steaks. Took up 4 jars and put them in boiling water 3 hrs. Turned out delicious. Perfect for 1 good serving per jar so no complaints.

These jars are a great value and quality. I just started canning and I love how easily these jars are to work with. They were shipped out in a box with dividers and wrapped to prevent damage.

Upon arrival I noted the jars were dirty, no problem! I just ran them through the dishwasher. Then I realized that although the box says, “wide mouth,” they appeared to be regular mouth. Well, I didn’t have time to order new jars, so I decided to go ahead and use them.Today was that day. On my first batch using (water bath technique), a can exploded (jar remained intact but the lid came off). “Okay,” I thought, “perhaps I overfilled it.” Then I noticed the lids don’t actually have buttons - you know, the buttons that pop so you know it’s sealed. I replaced them with Ball lids. While replacing the lids I noted that contents had boiled up under the lids - they would never seal.I attempted reprocessing the batch with Ball brand lids on those that had previously exploded or didn’t seal. These also popped off the jars. I then realized, it’s not the lid, it’s the jar! I had to transfer the contents to a new jar (same volumes) and they all sealed on the first attempt.In my community there are a lot of people who can. I realized that I can’t even donate the jars - someone would buy them and end up with the same problem I had! Into the garbage they went. So frustrating!
