Controller was in pretty good condition even though it was used. I had to open it an and clean up a bit one of the triggers that was sticking but once I did that the controller performed great. Saved some money and got a controller in very good condition overall.

Battery cover is slightly too big so every once in awhile the controller shuts off if battery moves

It works well when plugged in, but the wireless part doesn't work so it has to stay plugged in. That is now how it was described.

I received the Red Xbox 360 controller on time. However, the so-called rechargeable battery does not charge. We can still use it as a wired controller and still have the battery option, but was hoping to using the rechargeable battery to save on AAs.

Very good controller, similar to the look and feel of the controller that is included with the xbox. Overall it preforms very good.

So, I bought this red limited edition controller to replace my last one that broke after a long time of use, and I was extremely disappointed. It cost me $83 to get a defective controller that doesn't even have a rechargeable battery pack. My last controller was of good quality, with rechargeable battery & cord, and was consistent (as in buttons). The 'A' on the 'A'-button is white [for some reason], and all of the buttons feel extremely frail and cheap. I've never ordered anything online I was so disappointed in, and I order A LOT. I wish I could return it, but I jumped the gun in excitement [to replace my lucky red controller], and I threw away the box and packaging it came in before I realized the rip-off merchandise I got. THE WORST PROBLEM ABOUT THE CONTROLLER IS THAT NO MATTER HOW MANY FRESH BATTERIES YOU ROTATE THROUGH IT, IT ALWAYS "FLICKERS" THAT THE CONTROLLER IS DYING AND FREQUENTLY SHUTS OFF!!!! PURE GARBAGE THAT COST ME OVER A DAYS WORTH OF WORK! FIND A DIFFERENT LEGIT SELLER!! Who ever made my first red-controller, THANK YOU, because it was awesome and took a lot of beatings; I wish I could find another one like it without getting ripped-off!--I digress. Have a wonderful day!

Hey all this is Sam AKA Para in the gaming review community. This is one of many gaming reviews I will be starting for Amazon, so I hope you enjoy. Going to be talking about the Xbox 360 Limited Edition Red Wireless Controller and Play & Charge Kit which I have to say feels well. It is sort of light but durable. After playing for long hours I notice no pain in my hands, just the way the designed this controller it just fits right in your hands and is not stressing out you muscles or having you to curve your hands around it just to hold it. The vibration feedback is very well and is not super strong that it feels like a back massager or making your hands go numb, but it is not also so weak that you cannot even feel it. It gives just the right amount. The triggers are in just the right position and have the perfect lift to them for easy access. The joy sticks are perfectly assessable and once again do not strain your hands trying to use them. Battery life is not the best though, it could use a slight improvement but that is minor. Overall the controller is very nice and easy to use. Good work Microsoft for changing the hamburger shaped Xbox controller to this much easier to handle one. Hope this review helps and look forward for my other game reviews.

Overall I like the design of this controller. It is great for most modern games like RPGs and FPS. The reason I say modern is that with the increasing popularity of old school games on Xbox Live Arcade, this controller could use some improvements. The main problem is the D-pad. In most games I play, the D-pad is used sparingly, and usually only a single or couple of presses at a time. For that it is ok. But try playing Castlevania or Ninja Turtles and you'll quickly find it unsatisfactory. Now I know you can use the joystick but the problem with those is that sometimes the input is unclear. For example in castlevania you press Up + Attack to use your special weapon. However sometime pressing Forward + Attack will be register as Up + Attack. If you try to use the D-pad you encounter the same issue. It has this curvature that makes it feel like a bowl which takes away the feel and makes precise inputs hard. It would have been nice if they just had a simple D-pad with Up, Down, Left, and Right like on Nintendo controllers. But if you only play more modern games that are made for the 360 then I think this controller is excellent and you don't have to worry about my comments.

No surprises here. It does exactly the same things as any other Xbox controller, which is a good thing. These controllers are much more comfortable than the PS3 ones, and feel heftier too. This comes with a rechargeable pack, as well as the insert to use conventional AAs. Very good product.EDIT: After having this a while the rechargeable battery pack has completely failed and won't charge. I don't even game that much, so this came as a surprise. Controller still works as promised however.

Microsoft has finally started to give us some more color choices for the 360 controllers, and our first color is a good one. The Red Wireless 360 Controller really looks fantastic. This is your standard 360 controller, so the high quality hasn't changed. But it is nice to finally have a different color controller, especially if you plan to take this to another 360 owners home. Having something thats both easy to spot, and completely different from what most people have is a nice advantage. Also a great add-in is the inclusion of the Play-n-charge Kit. This includes a red rechargeable battery, and a charging cable, saving you tons in battery costs. The unfortunate thing, is because it includes the Play-n-Charge kit, Microsoft tacked 20 bucks to the price, making this a $70 controller. Plus on top of that premium, your still stuck with the standard D-pad, which is not that great. Over all great package, if not a tad bit expensive.Pros:+Cool Color+Easy to Spot+Play-n-Charge includedCons:-Expensive-D-pad still poor
