DFM Toolworks make great products. I like the small square for finding the center on edges. The small triangle square is great for other marking tasks on my woodworking projects.I highly recommend this company’s tools.

I bought this set (directly from DSM before I knew they are on Amazon) a year or two ago, and while I have 6" and 12" Carpenter's squares that I use for cabinetry (e.g., large bookcases), for many other tasks such as box making or decorative inlay work, I reach most often for my DSM Carpenter's square. I do use the small square principally as a center finder. The multiple holes for pins confer versatility that I appreciate. Both squares are quality products, clearly carefully produced. Ruler markings on the Carpenter's square are clear and precise. Once you have a set of these, not only might they quickly become "go to" tools, but they also will be "legacy tools" to pass on. As an additional purchase, they also would be a fine small gift for the woodworkers in your life.
