I purchased this to hem some 16 inch standing seam roofing for an awning I built. I could not find this tool in the correct width for my project so I bought this 18 inch one and cut it down to fit. It worked perfectly and cutting it down caused no issues with the tool. I would say 15-7/16 inches is about as narrow as you can go on this tool without cutting into the handle.

Works great but the handle is annoying, so I took it off. Much better.

I like the large easy to grab and leveraged handle. . . Sure, you can buy the little metal blade version for less than half the price, but there's no handle, and leveraging the little blade is a little bit of a trick. . .Pay the extra buck, and don't give yourself carpal tunnel . . .

Installing my 1st stand seam roof. If you’re going to wrap the ends of your panels around the drip edge, this tool is essential. I’ve only used the one inch side of this tool. It makes perfect, controlled bends. I’ve dropped this tool a bunch of times from a saw horse down to the garage floor with no bent corners. This tool is well made. When I was shopping for a bending tool, there were lots of tools contractors used, online. I’m really glad I picked this one. Tip: I also bought a Malco 6” wide hand seamer. High quality and essential, also.

Works great for doing standing seams and bigger corner bends. My only issue is that I use 26g metal and the slot is a bit thicker so the 2 corners dont always fold perfectly on the line. Making me have to tap the corners in. Other than that great product. Handle makes it much easier on longer bends.

This is a must-have for chimney flashing! I used this to bend the lip on cap flashing. It is soooo much easier to make small bends right there on the roof, saving many trips up and down the roof. With a little care, It's long enough to easily bend galv. flashing 3 or 4 feet long and small enough to toss in the tool bag. Nice and sturdy, I expect to get many years service out of this bugger!
