These are so easy to put in the closet, I have been going through some different types of lights and have not liked the outcome. These are actually perfect, I don't have a big closet, so two in the front puts out enough light to actually see what I need to see. The functionality is great, they do come with hardware if you are going to use them in a different capacity. The look is perfect for the closet, and gives my closet a more elevated look. The battery life seems to long, because I have left the battery on by mistake and its still going, not that I use is continuously for the closet. These appear as they are made pretty good for what I am using them for, they can also be great when the power goes out as well. I really love these lights, they are perfect for what I needed them for.

I have two calendars to help me stay organized and keep track of appointments which I use in addition to electronic calendars. It’s just nice sometimes to be able to look at a glance to see what’s coming up. In my small office there is no overhead lighting so I was looking for a way to provide light over the calendars themselves so I decided to try these Painting Lights by Libuam.Each light came wth batteries, it holds 3 AA, you just twist the light cover to remove it to insert the batteries. Also inside the box were three hardware mounts shaped like the letter “L”, plus screws and plastic screw anchors. The hardware mount is screwed to the wall with two screws and the light has a magnet on the back which attaches it to the hardware. There’s a round piece of metal sticking to the magnet, with blue plastic covering. The blue plastic covering needs to be removed as it impedes the magnet’s attraction to the metal on the light.In addition, the metal circle has adhesive on it, if you want to remove the paper and stick the light to the hardware mount. I didn’t want the light to be in place permanently so I removed the round circle altogether, and the light’s magnet is stronger without the metal circle in place. The light feels securely attached to the hardware mount.I mounted one light over each calendar, and the lights are providing adequate lighting, making it a lot easier to see my calendars. It was hard to get a picture that portrayed how dark it is on the wall where the calendars are because my phone camera compensated. Also, it was hard to get an accurate depiction of how helpful the lights are!The lights can be turned on and off manually by pressing the light, one press turns the light on as “Warm White”, the next press is “Cold White” and with the third press both warm and cold bulbs turn on creating “Natural White”.The remote allows a lot more functionality so word to the wise, don’t lose the remote! With the remote you can adjust the lights (all the lights at the same time) to the different color temperatures by pressing WW (red button), NW (green button), and CW (blue button). You can adjust the lights using the 50% button or 100% button, or the plus or minus button for brighter or dimmer. If the light blinks after a press, you have gotten to the brightest or dimmest setting.There is also a timer feature on the remote so you can set the lights to go out in 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 60 minutes or 120 minutes.One tip I like to offer for products with remotes… use a label maker or write on the back of the remote to indicate which device it belongs to. This has been immensely helpful in our household. I needed something to use in my china/curio cabinet & these are perfect. They have 3 different lighting modes... I enjoy the warm lighting but anyway...they have the option to hang any way & any where you need, everything comes with it to install. They each take 3 AA batteries. Still a good price

This set looks nice, functions well, and is easy to use. For the price, it’s a solid option for lighting up artwork or wall décor. My only issue is that each light requires three AA batteries, and they drain quickly. If you use rechargeable AAs, it’s a bit more manageable - but I wish it had a built-in rechargeable battery like some similar models.

I've been wanting to illuminate some vintage wall art I've had for years. It's stuck in a dark hallway, because that's the only place it would fit, and often goes unnoticed because it's generally in the dark unless the hall lights are on. Typical picture lamps are useless because the piece is over four feet wide.It was a simple as just hanging the holders behind the frame. The frame itself holds them in place just fine and the lights are firmly held in place by their magnetic top.I have some lithium rechargeable batteries that we typically use during the holidays for lighting candles. But for the rest of the year, they will work just fine for these lamps. I'm curious to see how long they last before needing to be recharged.I'll report back with an updated review if I have any concerns. But for now, I'm very pleased with these lightweight, attractive, and versatile picture lights.I like their compact size and the remote control handles all of the different timers and lighting temperature.If I were to make just one suggestion to the manufacturer, it would be to include small hoods in the front to shield the eye from the direct view of the lights. I may try to create some myself.

It would be odd mounting these in order for then to work for highlighting a painting. They have so many other uses though, whether under or on top of a cabinet. I like these because they are small, and are easy to remove since magnetic. Everything has gone to charging it seems, so this is a nice find!
