This art lamp is everything I was hoping for. The gold is a nice antique gold, not too yellow, not too brown. It matches well with the gold frame on my vintage mirror.I like that is has an easy to access switch and a remote. You do need to take it off the wall to charge (easily slides up and off the wall mount) and you need to use the charging chord it comes with which limits charging and increases the chances of scratching the fixure or the wall. Overall I like it, just wish I could charge it without taking it off the wall.

Giving three stars for the installation. It shouldn't have been that hard but trying to make sure the metal bar was staying in the back of the light, while trying to make sure the light was straight, was sort of a pain because as soon as you get the light where you want it, and then take your hand off of the back to get it flush against the wall, to use a level, the metal piece would fall to the floor. Luckily I had some 3M adhesive that is on the old side so it doesn't stick very well, I put a little piece of each side of the metal so I could get the metal piece to stick to the wall, and to the back of the light so I could use my level. Why not just use the level on the metal piece? That wasn't level to begin with. After messing with it and finally getting it installed, it is a nice light. I put it above our dart board in the basement, I do like that the remote as different dim options and then different brightness on top of that. I will have to get a longer cord to charge the light with because of where it's at on the wall, its not close to reaching an outlet, and the cord itself is very short.

This is a really great quality picture light that was easy to install. It has a great battery life...been using it about 6 hours per day for a little over a week on a dimmed setting, and it's still on the first full battery charge. It's easy to remove from the mounting bracket to recharge when needed. It has 3 different white color modes and the timer feature works great. It really elevates the look of your picture/art for a great value. I ordered 2 different brands and like this one more due to the adjustability of not only the light itself, but also the arm. Highly recommend!

I am reviewing: Black Picture Light Battery Operated 16” Rechargeable Gallery Light with Swing Arm Remote Wireless Art Light for Painting Dimmable Display Lights with Timer Cordless Wall Sconce for Portrait DartboardThis gallery light is basically too small for anything I would consider in need of a gallery light. The materials look good enough, but they are lightweight, and I would say of medium quality at best. The arm raises up and down, but it is far too short to allow the light to reach the artwork if you have it appropriately framed.I installed the device as close to the top of the frame as possible. It was easy to install, just two screws hold the mounting plate, and then the french cleat style installation makes it very easy to place the light, and also to remove it for recharging. The light bar does move in and out, but with the short arm, it just lights the top of my picture. If I try to pivot it outward to reach lower, then you get the light in your eyes when looking at the piece.I would say that if your hanging is small, or your frame is not very wide, this would be fine. The remote is the cheapest kind. But it does have three color choices so that you can choose what looks best on your wall hanging. There are several timer choices. The charge cord uses the Type C usb so you're sure to have one on hand. The cord is medium in length. It is possible that you might have an outlet near enough to leave the light on the wall to charge, but probably not.

About 20 years ago, I picked up a Thangka while in Tibet. Too much sunlight can fade and/or damage the paint on this piece, so it is hanging in an area of my home where it only gets incidental light. Since it has very fine detail and also painted with real gold highlights, in some areas, it is difficult to see the finer details without good light. Not long ago I bought a picture light not much different than this new picture light; however, it was not bright enough to light the Thangka completely and fully. My new picture light does the job perfectly! The problem with my old light was probably mostly my fault because the light was not very bright for the job and my knowledge of just how bright a 3000K light was, was nil. Since my first light has only one light setting of 3000k, it would only light the top-half of my Thangka. The Thangka is approximately 30" high and 24" wide, and my last picture light was mounted 2" above the Thangka. As this new picture light has brightness settings of 3000K, 4000K, and 6000K (or possible 6500K, since the ad has conflicting values), the light is strong enough to light the whole Thangka from top-to-bottom and makes it possible to see all the fine details. One other good thing about this light is that the user has the ability to adjust the angle of the direction of the light due to the fact that the light bar itself can rotate on the arm as well as the arm can rotate where it meets the base. This also makes a big difference as to whether the light gets to all areas of your picture(s). The light is very simple to install and only requires a screwdriver and/possibly a drill depending on if you are going into wood or drywall (in which you would need the wall anchors [included] and a drill). I am very happy with this picture light.

This light works great for highlighting artwork! The brass finish looks really nice and gives it a classy touch. The remote is super convenient, and I love that you can adjust the brightness and color tone. It was easy to install, and since it’s battery-operated, I didn’t have to deal with any wires.Battery life seems decent so far, but I do wish it lasted a little longer before needing a recharge. Other than that, it’s a solid choice if you want an easy way to light up paintings or photos!
