My horse hated a traditional snaffle and tried to escape the tongue pressure any way he could. This bit fixed most of his behavioral issues, including bit refusal. He refused a traditional snaffle for 10-20 minutes daily, but takes this one immediately every time I ask. The loops on the cheek pieces make pressure/release very obvious, and the mouthpiece doesn’t pinch. WAY cheaper than a Myler and functions basically the same. The mouthpiece has a slightly higher port than the Myler, but it’s still “low”. The bars swivel a little more than a Myler, too, making it seem “looser” than a similar Myler mouthpiece. Overall, it’s well worth the price, and I’ll be checking this brand to purchase before looking at Myler.
