I recently purchased a flash diffuser from Westcott, expecting a high-quality product, given the company's reputation in the photography community. Unfortunately, my experience has been nothing short of frustrating. The diffuser does not stay in place and falls off far too easily, even with minimal movement. This makes it practically useless in any real-world shooting scenario.I was in the middle of an important photo session when the diffuser repeatedly fell off, wasting precious time and causing unnecessary stress. I tried securing it more tightly, but the design seems flawed, and no amount of adjusting could fix the issue. It simply does not grip the flash securely enough to stay on, especially when tilting or moving the camera. This is a significant problem for photographers who need reliable gear, especially during dynamic shoots.The diffuser also feels cheaply made. I expected a more durable, robust material, but it feels flimsy and looks like it could break easily with regular use. I’ve used far better diffusers from other brands that cost less. For the price I paid, I expected something that would perform well and last a long time, but this product does not meet those expectations at all.I’m extremely disappointed and feel like I wasted my money. I do not recommend this diffuser to anyone looking for a reliable and effective product. It’s a shame because I expected better from Westcott.

The product is well made and most likely produce a light that will work for my needs but...the connection to the FJ200 is too flimsy. One minor jolt and the dome falls off. If you 'spin' it a bit, you can find a tighter grip, but...I NEED TO SPIN IT?One real world scenario would be to take a couple out for a, 'night shot' when at a reception. I have a camera in one hand and my light(on a stand) in the other. I have the dome in place and I now have to walk 150' or some to get to the location. The entire trek I'm watching to see if this dome wants to stay attached instead of where I'm going. If it does make it and now I'm setting up the light, a slight bang on the ground with the light-stand could possibly jar it loose. It should not be like this...there are other worries I need to focus on than this accessory falling off. I can't even lean it(the light, stand and 'dome') up against the wall without the dome falling off.

This item is made well and I love it. It does have one adjustment needed. The magnets, do hold but need to be stronger for anything other than studio work. They hold but not great. Bill Mahon Photo & Video

I was worried about some reviewers having issues with a weak magnet attachment. I can confirm that's not an issue with the product I received. Works great and is not going to accidentally fall off.

I am still waiting on the flash so can’t tell how well it works but it’s Westcott. I don’t have a doubt it’ll be fine.
