Your cart is empty.This Chrome Plated hackamore features a braided leather noseband and 9" cheeks. Mechanical hackamores work off of leverage via a noseband, curb strap/chain and shanks. As with curb bits, the longer the shanks, the more leverage you will have. These hackamores work on the nose, chin, lower jaw and poll.

I have several horses that go in Hackamores and this one is a very poor design. The way it’s made the cheek straps go through two steel loops on either side of the bed which compresses the chin of the horse causing unnecessary pain.
