This water pump bolted right up into where the old one was. No more leaks. Although I replaced all nuts and bolts with new, the fan blade bolts were SAE so no need to change them. The only tough part was getting the generator bolt on to the bracket. I had to grind it shorter for the clearance needed to install it. Looks like a quality water pump too. Made in Germany??? It was not marked.

Spent five hours on a Saturday changing the water pump. Thank God, it was the warmest day we had in weeks. Though, it did not get above freezing that day, I was able to work without gloves. It took two hours to get the fan off the pump. Had prepped the tractor the night before so it should have come off easier. Nope. Ended up taking the hood off to get better access. Needed to anyways, as I was also replacing the 160° thermostat with a 180°.Installation went as it should. The hardest part was hooking up the generator. I only figured the reason several weeks later when I was getting ready to toss the old pump. Just look at the picture, the mounting plate on the old pump is straight! The new one is not. Meaning there was a 2 to 3/8 gap difference between the two mountings. If I had seen that sooner... Well, I am setting the old plate aside as a just in case. Do note: 1952 8n.At least I am no longer leaking antifreeze.
