Water tastes horrible after being filtered. Have been using these for weeks hoping it maybe needed to clear a few gallons first (like the OG berkey filters) but there is still a chlorine ish taste and smell. There are tiny pieces of black things floating in the filtered water (pieces of the filter). Do not recommend! I’m just going to buy the ceramic ones from Berkey website- pricey but worth it.

I’ve had a Berkey for about 5 years now and the brand just got sued for some nonsense about chemicals. Anyway, this is a great substitute and works perfectly. I’ve got clean, clear water without the hassle/coast of having to buy bottled water

We purchased our Berkey a month ago and added these carbon filters, which have been fantastic. They’re durable, easy to install, and filter the water incredibly well. The water tastes pure and clean, with no aftertaste or weird odors – you can really tell the difference!One thing we’ve noticed is that the water flow improves as you add more filters inside the Berkey. It’s convenient for larger households or higher water usage, as the flow rate keeps up nicely. Plus, the value is excellent given the quality and longevity of these filters. We’ll definitely keep using these as replacements when the time comes. Highly recommended for anyone looking to get the best performance out of their Berkey!
