Workflow:

Tap water passes through the PP Filter and CTO Filter and becomes primary purified water, the built-in booster pump will pressurize the primary purified water to 60-110PSI, the actual pressure value can be checked by the water pressure gauge display value. After the RO Filter T33 Filter, ALK Filter, and UV sterilization filtration, the water will become pure water for drinking, and the wastewater will flow out through the other end.

Determine the way to change the filter:

When the tap water temperature and pressure are normal (generally 40-104℉, 15 - 70 PSI)

1. When the flow of pure water is less than 0.5L/min, the filter cartridges need to be replaced (It is normal for the flow rate in summer to be slightly higher than the flow rate in winter)

2. Check the value of the water pressure gauge

  • through the RO filter before the pressure detection (generally normal in the 60-110PSI or so), if more than 130psi, and the wastewater valve is not blocked, then you need to replace the RO Filter, followed by the T33 Filter.
  • If the tap water pressure is 40psi, but the water pressure gauge shows much lower than 40psi, you need to replace the PP Filter, followed by the CTO Filter.

Recommendation:

  • The T33 filter is suitable for T1-400UV, the ALK filter is suitable for T1-400ALK， and the RO/CTO/PP Filter suitable for T1-400 series, including both T1-400UV and T1-400ALK.
  • Replace the PP filter, CTO filter, ALK Filter, and T33 filter every 3-6 months, Replace the RO membrane every 12 months.
  • The actual service life of the filter element depends on the amount of water consumption and quality.

Originally installed T1-400UV system Dec 2023 and couldn't be happier with the taste and convenience. Using daily for entire family including pets for drinking and ice. No more lugging 5 gallon jugs back and forth to water store for refills.Recently ordered 4 pack replacement filters and installed the 3 recommended after 6 months. There was a funny metallic taste so replaced the 1 yr RO filter as well. Still bad taste so called customer service and they sent the 2 filters that are for taste (RO and T33). This fixed the problem and now back to great tasting water!5 stars for the system and 5 stars to great customer service!

We are very happy with our water filter. The water quality is excellent. We also love that we do not have to have a large storage tank under the sink. There was a problem with installation as a leak developed in one of the fittings but the plumber rectified the problem and the leak was fixed.
