One of the things I like about this is that it says that it's filtration removes chlorine, which is important to me. And it is my understanding that the alternative that I've been using until now — Brita filters — do not actually remove chlorine. So this I got for me be a better solution.It did take me some work to get it installed, not because it was difficult to install — super easy, actually — but because it wasn't actually as universal as the product page described. Definitely check their product images, as it calls out the ones it says it is not compatible with in which styles it is. Mine did not fit in the list of those that were not compatible but I nonetheless needed to go to the hardware store and pick up the right adapter to make it work. Not a huge deal because it does not work fine.How well does it filter? There's no doubt that it tastes better than the tap water straight up. That said, the water filtered through my Brita tastes even better, so I'm not sure this is picking up everything that the Brita does. But it definitely did help. This sink faucet filter is also very convenient, processing it at the source (as it leaves the faucet). I also appreciate that the filter comes with either 2 or 4 of them so you can use them all over your house.
