Gloves felt great on the hand, except for both index fingers seem to have been sewn on crooked making it impossible to type on a phone screen with without holding your finger at an angle tilted inwards which can’t be done one handed and three brakes in the stitching on the left thumb, which were almost complete holes, and two on the right developed after one wear of 2hrs in 35-40°F weather. The left glove index and thumb black dye rubbed off on absolutely anything I touched. God forbid you touched your face.

Note (I have size small length fingers and size large palms. Bought mediums ) well put together gloves. Incredibly tactile and grippy where you need it. Nearly everywhere contacting you skin has a thin merino wool liner for wicking sweat all except for the last 3/4 or so of the index finger. Foam padding on the knuckles is pretty neat it would be full difficult to hurt your own hand slapping it into something with these onI really like the full grain leather palm and fingers the knuckle protector being made of Polyester I think from reading the tag reduces the stretch in a full fist it could be replaced with more leather or adding a stretch panel between the pinky and ring fingers knuckles you’d have a pretty awesome glove as is they are good I did get a bit drastic with my break I’m soaked in hot water twice while wearing then also got the leather wet and gripped a hot tea kettle with them on they fix excellent a a tiny bit tight across the knuckles in a full on fist but I can deal with it for now till these degrade I’ll be getting the course of fire gloves which don’t have the knuckle protector and would stretch to fit a bit better.

After wearing these gloves for only 5 minutes my hands were completely black. The leather color bleeding of the leather is considerable and the worst I have even experienced with any leather product.

So I bought these gloves because I'd heard Vertx made a quality product. The gloves fit better than a lot of other gloves I'd tried but still, and this may be personal, the fingers had a bit of extra room and I did measure hand per the recommendation.The stickers seem durable but the edges of the various materials aren't stitched into the glove thus leaving slight edges past the stitching. Could be a problem could not be a problem but seemed weird to be designed that way. Make you're own decision. (Can be seen when zoomed in on the available images)Biggest con: I am not sure if the loop inside the glove was solely designed as a carry loop, but the first time I used it to try and pull on the glove it tore the leather of the palm it's stiched to. I did pull it snug with the loop but with no more pressure than I have with competitors gloves. This was a deal breaker particularly due to the price of these.Biggest pro: Absolutely worked brilliantly as advertised for touch screen capabilities. The fingers were a tad thick but didn't cause much issue at all.

The quality of these tactical gloves is what I expect from a brand like Vertx, but do not assume that the size you usually wear for gloves will suffice. I made that mistake and ordered a large, and they are very tight. I can get them on my hands, but I cannot quickly put them on or take them off like other gloves. For that reason I will probably only use these at the shooting range.

I love these gloves. The fit is snug and tactile. The fingers are narrow so you can actually feel things and be precise. You can even use a keyboard with these on with minimal errors. Thick and tough in the knuckles, palms, and backs of fingers up to the second knuckle. thin and breathable at the sides of the fingers and back of the hand. The piece on the side of the middle finger rests perfectly at the sharp junction between triggerguard and receiver. They are also excellent heat barriers, I could not even feel the heat coming off the barrel after 60 rounds of .556. I am not army, but i would guess that these will not do well overseas, they just aren't the right materials for that kind of abuse. They might be okay for general purpose and training at the stateside base or something like that though. Only possible suggestion is that it could stand to be 3/4ths of an inch longer to offer some wrist protection but that is just preference.

Great gloves! I didn't size it correctly, but my hands don't fit a large too well either. Either way they are great shooting gloves. Be sure to really size your hand according to the chart.

Great for shooting but also really works with the phone easily. I’ve tried 12 different gloves and only two sorta worked with the phone but they just had small strips that had contact - these work like fingers.
