The cover lid on the back snaps on with two clips, will not seal out dust. The cover is easy to remove, so I looked inside, nothing fancy (see photos). The wiper contact is just a single-point, not the multi-point contact that some fancier pots have. There is no spec for wiper current.There is an abrupt step as the wiper drops from the metsl tab to the resistance wire. This step is about 200 ohms on the 10K pot I measured.I think these will be ok for my usage. If these wear out quickly, more expensive CTS 026T 5-watt pots have rotational life spec, and can replace these with room to spare.
