I bought this because it's not only a stopper but also a hair catcher. Over time my hair tends to sometimes get too deep in the bathtub, clogs the pipe, and is very hard to retrieve because of how far down it is. This stopper is so effective at catching my hair that it fills up with it in only about 4 days. While this does require me to frequently empty it, screwing apart the water stopper and hair catcher only takes about 3 seconds and then another 20 seconds to get my hair out and throw it away.As for fit, it was perfect. The pictures and description of compatible sizes for this stopper made it easy for me to confirm it was the right size. And it does indeed stop water perfectly just with a very gentle push and likewise one more push will release it's suction and let the water drain!The simple design and metal look sturdy enough to last a while. So far I've only used it for around 3 months, but I am hopeful it will last for many years to come.

Got one for my bathroom sink and for tub both levers had brokenjust drop in and done.. DAP!Worth every penny save alot more than a plumber coming over to repair!!!!!!

For manufactured home owners: this fits in the drain. No installation. Just pop it right in. Easy to clean, just unscrews so you can get the hair out. The only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars is because the water drains slow. But good purchase if you need something fast!

I like the design and the very simple installation. My only issue is the small trap underneath the button fills with hair very quickly, requiring us to clean it often - like after each time my long-haired daughter showers. It seems there would be a clean design fix for this issue, but until then this device needs constant attention. Too bad; the rest of the design really deserves 5 stars.
