My drain cover is 3". This gasket was way too big and didnt fit in the cover. I measured the gasket outer diameter and it was 3.75" diameter. The two different thickness measurements did match the ad. So bigger diameter than it was supposed to be.I ended up cutting the gasket's extra length and reconnecting it with silicone sealer so it was the diameter it was supposed to be.After modification, it does seal the overflow drain off.I dont know how long this will last. Its made out of some sort of crumbly foam, not real rubber.Frankly, if I knew this gasket was going to require the DIY size modification and then be just junky foam, I would have just DIY'd something up out of spare parts to start with.

The images make it look like it come with replacement drain cover as well but it’s just the sponge gasket.
