This unit is fantastic. Purchased mainly for glasses on which it does a superb job and jewelry as well.

Works as expected. It's much smaller than I expected- observation not a complaint. I haven't found any of my found pieces that clean in horcrux fashion.

This little machine really works! When I used it the first time I cleaned my rings and a pair of small stud earrings . I do not think a photo would have shown how clean and sparkly everything came out, but I should have taken a picture of what the water in the cleaner looked like after the 5 minute cycle was finished. It was It was murky and awful looking, so all that gunk was on my jewelry - yuck! Anyway, the good news is that the ultrasonic cleaner really does work. The other nice thing is that it works quickly and with regular water. There are no chemicals to buy. In fact, the instructions are explicit that you should not use any kind of abrasive cleaner with the machine. I am going to clean my glasses and then try my makeup brushes. So far, I am very happy with this product!

I like the larger ultrasonic machine as I can clean my glasses. I suggest a glasses cleaning solution to put in as you don't want anything abrasive. I am hesitant to do my sunglasses as there are special coatings on them. I might try with an older pair. My glasses came out spotless, and it cleaned the hinges, the arms etc. This says you can clean toothbrushes but they don't fully fit so I did it without the lid. I was ready to mark this down a star, but it did a great job on it. I then went to my razor handle. You can see before and after photos. I went the full 7 minutes. I think it will take at least 3 cycles but you can see it got a good start on it. I used a jewelry cleaner solution on it, I might try Dawn next. I am happy with this and like the size.

Not as helpful getting that green rust off copper- it turned some of it more black. So that will go in a citric acid bath which works slowly but very well. With some smaller tool bits and such that had their black oxide coating starting to flake off, a couple extended soaks in the cleaner helped clean up the surface. Pretty amazing what water getting microscopically swooshed around at high frequency can do. I also dipped the end of a plastic sink stopper in it for several cycles, which helped loosen some rust that had caked on from a disintegrated steel lifter piece. One set of screwdriver went through several cycles with a couple minute rest in between, and the water ended up significantly warmer. Maybe starting with hot water would work better.Which raised several questions. Having never used anything like this before, the water temp issue and a couple other questions popped up that weren't addressed in the little instruction pamphlet. Does it matter where in the water an item is placed? There are some areas in the water where there seems to be more motion, almost like there a tiny little hose jetting water out of the end toward the middle. Then more in the middle it looks like there might be standing waves. I tried doing an experiment with greenish pennies, but that type of grime doesn't come off too well so there wasn't any noticeable difference, at least to the naked eye.Second thing- it looks like the "tub" of the cleaner is stainless steel so are there other cleaners or additives to water that can be used? A little chart showing what to use for different sorts of grime might be helpful. A quick duckduckgo search shows people use citric acid, dawn dish detergent and some mystery powder from HF for their cleaning projects. Guess it's time to experiment. The size of this unit will limit its usefulness in my shop since I'm more likely to need something big enough to dunk a chainsaw or snowblower carburetor into, but for those little bits and bobs it should earn it keep.

I'd been obsessed with the idea of owning one of these after binge-watching cleaning videos and seeing this gadget numerous times. I have a lot of body jewelry - so this is a great way to get a deep clean without being so hands on. Very versatile; as many uses as I've found for it, hubby has found a plethora more for hobbies. Great buy!

I'm not saying it did nothing, but it didn't do much. Tried it on my wife's jewelry. Tried with soap, without soap, short period, long period. No noticeable difference. When you put your fingers in it while it's running you can feel the vibration but it isn't consistent throughout the bed of water. My kids put their dirty fingers in it and it somehow shook the dirt from beneath their fingernails. I gave it two stars because it was kind of effective doing that. Otherwise, it operated the way it said it should, but it didn't really accomplish anything like it should have.
