These cleaning tablets instruct one tablet per 3 quarts of water. So if you are using these for a home ultrasonic cleaning that holds probably less than 1 cup of water, you would have to break these tablets into at least four pieces. That said, I tried putting just half a tab into 2 cups of water. It took the tablet more than 10 minutes to dissolve, there was a little bubbling while it was turning blue but I didn’t smell any minty fragrance. It seemed like a big long process to clean retainers.

The tablets create a feeling a cleanliness thanks to their fizzy activation. I replaced these with my mouthwash routine. I liked the fact that it didn't leave a bitter aftertaste. Highly-recommended with regular brushing!

These tablets worked to remove crusty plaque and stains from my Invisalign retainers. They are VERY concentrated, meant for 64 - 96 oz of water per tablet and soak in an ultrasonic cleaner for 10 - 15 minutes. If you drop a tablet in a glass of warm water like I did with my first tablet, expect that water to turn extremely blue and you'll need to rinse your retainer thoroughly to remove the blue coloring. My retainers did get cleaner and clearer after using the tablet, so they work well. Just make sure to follow the instructions if you're using this for home use. I suggest breaking the tablet into 4 pieces to clean in a home ultrasonic cleaner. I can see how this will work well in a dentist office.

These work wonders with my ultrasonic cleaner. Compared to using regular water these really help agitate some of the stubborn dirt that also leaves stuff clean when working with my ultrasonic cleaner. I really enjoy that the mint scent isn't overpowering. Overall this is great if you're looking to stock up and use with your ultrasonic cleaner. The tablets don't damage my machine and the packages are easy to open and store.

At .50 per use, these are a great value. Perfect for Ultrasonic Cleaning. You get 64 individually wrapped tablets which quickly dissolve into water. Not a whole to say other than they work.

As indicated in the product info, these are meant for professional use with larger ultrasonic devices. These tablets provide enzyme based cleaning power to remove all the gook that gets on dental instruments. These are a value compared to the pricing for the bigger name brands. You could use them in a smaller home ultrasonic, but you'd only need a fraction of a tablet.

To be honest, I’m kind of struggling to figure out how well these cleaning tablets actually work. First of all, the tablets have to be diluted, and the suggested ratio is two tablets for every one gallon of water. So, if your intended purpose with these is denture, retainer, or mouth guard cleaning, it’s not as easy as just putting a tablet in your cleaning case and adding water. So, that’s not as convenient for me. Also, these don’t effervesce very much at all. There is a very slight bubbling effect at the beginning, but that’s it. I can’t say whether that affects their actual cleaning potential or not. Something I noticed right away that caught my attention is that these leave what looks like a waxy floating film on the surface of the water. I have no idea what it is, but it isn’t appealing. These are described as mint scented, but I can’t detect any fragrance at all. Since I really don’t have any way of knowing how well these are disinfecting, other than if my appliance looks and smells cleaner, it’s really hard to say how effective these are. I’m going to be generous and give these four stars for now, and if I have any further insights after using these longer, I’ll update this review.
