The Ubibot GS1 is an industrial-grade temperature humidity sensor.

It allows you to monitor any place in real-time and gives you remote access to your data via our app and web console. So, wherever you are in the world, you can view the data in graphs from your Android / iOS phone, tablet, or computer.

Our cloud-based IoT platform offers advanced data analysis and management. By the app, you are able to manage all of your devices in one Ubibot account. Set alerts for sensor readings and offline status, the device will notify you by in-app notifications, email, IFTTT notifications, SMS text, and also voice call, allowing you to respond promptly before costly damage happens. Please note, charges of credits in your account may apply when you choose SMS text and voice call alert modes.

There is no subscription fee. All devices come with an included plan that contains 200 MB of online storage and 1 GB of outbound traffic. The storage is enough for up to 2 years of usage. The platform supports data export and PDF report. Once the storage is used up, you can delete the data and reuse it.

The device also has a large internal memory that can store 300,000 records, which means once the network disconnected, your data won't get lost.

The data sync interval can be set by you. This allows you to balance battery life against the frequency of data capture. Internal lithium battery has a capacity of 2900 mAh.

We also open up our RESTful API, offering professional users the chance to develop their own monitoring solutions. If you need to deploy local API with our devices, we can also provide assistance both in hardware and software.

Temperature sensor: -20 to 60℃, Humidity sensor: 10 to 90%, Ambient light: 0 - 83k lux.

Optimal operational conditions: -20ºC to 60ºC (-4ºF to 140ºF) RH: 10% to 90%, No condensation.

*The sensor precision can be affected by extreme conditions. We recommend you avoid using it outside of the optimal operational conditions listed above. For usage in extreme conditions, please connect an external temperature/humidity probe to help with monitoring. This device is not waterproof, please avoid using it outdoor without any shelter.

Data processing requires a lot of energy, making server rooms warm to the point that this can be damaging to all of the stored information in there. To avoid the sudden overhigh temperature, you don't need to keep the air conditioner working all the time. Deploy one Ubibot device in the room, power it with the Ethernet cable, and set an alert rule for the critical value. You will be aware of the temperature changes so you can turn on the air conditioner in time. We work with IFTTT (if this then that), it can benefit the way of manual operation.

The UbiBot GS1-AETH1RS has a large screen that displays the temperature and humidity.In addition, there is a companion web console application that records and displays the temperature, humidity, Wi-Fi RSSI and Light (lux).The UbiBot GS1-AETH1RS temperature information is inaccurate.There is a large difference in the GS1-AETH1RS display temperature reading and the chart information.The chart temperature is reading 13.9° higher than the display.Attached are two screenshots, taken at the same time.On the screenshot of the chart, the recorded temperature is 53.2°F. On the screenshot of the display the temperature is 39.3°F. The display temperature is probably correct as verified by a separate thermometer.I was not able to locate a way to offset the chart temperature to align the reading with the display.Tech support has not provided an answer to this issue.

You can't get to the actual seller. Amazon interferes with efforts to contact the seller. Contacting Unibot will get you a condescending jerk of a customer representative that utterly refuses to answer direct question and insist nothing is wrong with their product. This could have been solved by first, having reps that know whether or not their product with without apps and network and who don't string you along. Second by having a product that doesn't require a network to do the things it says it can do. Third having a seller available to handle product issues.

I use this to monitor the temperature of the output of my boiler that I use for hydronic heating. It works well and was easy to setup.

The first one I ordered arrived with the sensors physically broken - shattered because the main unit was loose in the box -- because their cardboard insert with the cutout that is meant to keep it from moving around is not held down by anything, and with enough jostling apparently moves to the top of the box, no longer contacting the unit.I made an exchange through Amazon and the next one arrived in good physical shape. The main box's sensors worked wonderfully, but the RS485 connection would not work with the included probe. I went back and forth with their technical support folks trying to troubleshoot. We got to the point where they sent me a new probe in case the probe was broken. This also did not fix the problem, so we agreed that the main unit was faulty and that they would need that back in order to diagnose. I asked repeatedly for a shipping label to send it back, and four emails over 2.5 weeks were met with silence. The guy ghosted me! Meanwhile, it had been almost three months since my initial purchase and outside of the 30 day return window (to replace the REPLACEMENT!). Luckily the Amazon rep was reasonable and let me return it through them anyway. But the Ubibot support folks could learn a thing or two about customer service. I paid $180 for something that never fully worked; they should be apologizing for wasting >2 months of my time and sending me a new unit, no questions asked!
