Replacing window regulator in an '08 C300 Mercedes. Requires a pop rivet tool capable of large shanked rivets. We used a nutsert tool to install the inner door panel. This was harder than we expected and it took 4 hours including a trip to the hardware store. But bottom line, the regulator was fine.

I searched online found it cheaper to purchase the regulator alone, instead of buying the regulator with the door panel. It came with 4 rivet bolts, and is fully assembled for you to install it on the door panel. The regulator has been installed for a couple weeks now and it's working great. IF the ridges on the regulators motor are not stripped this will work just fine.
