It's a nice bit! Fits great not a whole lot of leverage copper creates good salvation! Fits my mare well wouldn't recommend for a horse that doesn't have a whole lot of experience riding and with snaffles.

I noticed a sharp piece metal and sanded it down before first use but my mare still acts like it’s action is pinchy and she’s not normally a head tosser. It also rusted significantly after the first use even though it was rinsed and dried after use. Just spend a few more dollars on this critical piece of equipment. Just get a better one that makes your horse comfortable.

I’ve had this bit for about 3.5 months now and I have no complaints. It’s held up well and my horse loves it. I ride in it about 5-6 times a week. I’ve attached a picture of it in its current condition. I clean it once a week with just a rag and water and it only has some slight discoloration. The pieces still spin well and they don’t pinch his mouth either. I would 100% recommend this over the pricey options at Dover. Four out of five stars only because the one copper roller is wearing a little faster than the others however my guy is a little stiffer to the left than the right so that plays into the wear.

Excellent bit for the price. My horse loved the copper rolls. Bit is working well in teaching him to yield to pressure.
