It would probably be more fair to give these foam sheets five stars instead of four. They are exactly what the ad says. They are firm to the feel and offer significant protection from your tools jiggling around. In the picture, you can see I used the 1" version as a tool drawer liner. Another picture of the amount I had to cut off with scissors (easy peasy). The third picture shows the 2" version. The only reason I have them four versus five stars is that I was expecting that they were the type of foam that is laser-cut, where you pull away portions so tools and equipment can stay secure and snug. However, they are solid sheets. Maybe that was my error; when I read "tool foam organizers," I assumed that meant the break-away type of foam. Overall, these are very useful; I'll have to be a bit more creative than I was thinking.
