I got this as a symbolic gift for my son for his next chapter in life to not get lost along the way. Its in a beautiful real wood box with a beautiful heartfelt poem. The compass looks antique as well adding an extra element. It's an amazing set and worth it all. Definitely recommend

We ordered this brass compass as a gift for my son’s 21st birthday. Even though the messaging was written by someone else, it was very special—and with no typos that I could find. The message is printed on a card that came with the compass as well as inscribed on a small brass plaque on the inside lid of the compass’ gift box AND etched on the back of the compass. We didn’t include the card with the message when we wrapped the gift.I don’t think I noticed when I reviewed the product page that the word “GOD” is printed at Due North. This was a nice surprise.The box is more than adequate. Not quite as… I don’t know, luxe, maybe, as might better befit such a gift, but it was certainly decent.

This compass is beautiful. It comes in a wooden box that has the message inside. The message is well written and looks beautiful on the metal insert. It is very well made with terrific detail. It even came with a card. It is a perfect gift. Even the wooden box is highly detailed. It was definitely made to last.

I think my son was touched by this gift. It is beautifully made and inscribed by some gracious words. It is a gift for a young man who is starting his adult life. It gives confidence, assurance and everlasting joy.

This is a really nice gift for the Explorer in the family. It comes in nice wooden box and is quite well made out of metal. It’s comes with a card with a kind of a cheesy little saying on it, but I really like the sentiment behind it and how the compass has God at the north point of the compass rose. Overall, this is a great gift for a son on a milestone of life or when they have a special achievement you want to commemorate.

My son compass gift. This is so much nicer than I imagined it would be. Down to the finest detail of the box it is beautiful. The compass itself feels made quite sturdy and is very beautiful with an extremely sweet sentiment imprinted on it for son. The back of it has beautiful detailed writing to Son. It has an attractive chain attached to it.I would recommend this as it comes well packaged and will make a lovely gift for your son.
