Great product, I've been using it for a couple of fights now. Picked up the size Large, but had an issue with the thigh tightness. I wear a size 36' in pants and the large fits perfect on my waistline. The thighs however feel a bit tight. If you have thick thighs I would recommend sizing up.

It's comfortable, and will definitely hold up better than all the other groin protectors I own. I've worn it all day and hardly feels like it's there.

After decades of martial arts training, the traditional, steel Thai cup had been my preferred groin protector. This TMA Metal Pro protector has supplanted it for the #1 spot. It offers the protection of the the Thai style cup, but does so more comfortably. The waist band is true to size (I wear 32”). I slightly loosened the Velcro and had a perfect fit (unlike the more expensive Windy cup, which is made to the smaller Asian sizes - I’d need an XL for that brand to work!). The critical side/back straps barely stretch, so the cup stays in place. (Old design jock strap cups will stretch and spring back - striking the very parts they’re supposed to protect.) I’ve used this cup for striking and grappling, and have found it compatible with both. In fact, I ordered a 2nd one so I can keep one in my BJJ bag and one in the bag with my gloves and shin guards.
