160° thermostat, could not find this kit with a 140° thermostat. I will have to see how the boat runs with the higher temp thermostat. The kit has all the proper gaskets included.

I replaced my 160 stat last fall with this. I thought I solved my overheating issue but just put boat in water for season and it’s over heating. Removed this stat to test in pot of hot water. This does not open at 160. It opens at 180-185. I’m not sure but that doesn’t seem normal. My overheat alarm goes of at 180
