Okay, so. I RARELY write reviews but when I do I write them for GOOD reason.I got this screen (on a prime day sale Oct 7-9th or whatever) for 11 bucks and figured what the hay, it will last two summers against sun, rain, and wind and then it will be out the door (pun not intended) and on with the next cheap screen.I honestly don't think so...When I got the box I was wondering why it was so heavy for just a """flimsy""" throwaway screen. And then I unraveled it and was shocked. This thing is well made, very thick and as advertised-reinforced. The screen isn't flimsy like fabric. It's straight up screen stiff (albeit with a little give) like you see in regular windows. The nylon is thick and the magnets are heavy duty and heavy, making the screen have a good overall shape and weight.I walked in and out of the screen because I was that happy and, yes, my ADHD brain loved the serotonin from this purchase. If anyone was wondering-the magnets DO NOT do that clickclickclickclap when they shut. It's silent. I installed this on a windy day and the screen did not open or give way. (like my last one)Now for the main attraction. The adhesive velcro it comes with. It came with a WHOLE roll of this stuff both thin and wide width. I don't think you will need to use it all unless you really wanna stick it on the frame to fend against running children or aggressive adults? But this stuff is STRONG so I only had to use a foot of it to stick it to my door frame. It came with tacs too in case you have a super angry human who has a vendetta against liminal spaces. It came with a black plastic tool thing? If anyone knows what that is I'll buy you a beer because it stumped me. And a manual with some tips. Neat.Anyways, sorry I'm rambling. It just was a super awesome purchase that I'm super pleased with. 11 bucks or more I would say buy it, buy it, buy it.If anything else happens or the magnets rust (I hope not oh gosh) I'll come back for edits!

These are great. I've had a terrible time keeping bugs out of my off grid cabin. With no AC, ventilation is very important. I purchased these for my two doors, and it's made a huge difference. Lots of ventilation and no bugs.My doors are white, which attracted flies, and they kept following me into the cabin every time I went in or out. Once they were in, there was no way to get them out without letting others in. The black screens don't attract the flies, and they close very quickly and completely behind me. If a bug does get in, it tends to go back to the screen, and I can easily part the screen and shoo it out.So no bugs, and a lot cooler.Although they are black, they are very see through, and don't obstruct the view very much. They were very easy to install. I stuck on the velcro, rubbed them with the little plastic tool to press the sticky side into the door jam better (this made a difference), and then I put staples in the velcro every six to eight inches. took me about 20 minutes for each door. One door was slightly more narrow than I thought, but I was able to just bunch it up along the top on one end, and it works perfectly fine.The Screen holds firmly onto the velcro, and even with a lot of use and carrying lumber and heavy things in with me, the velcro held firmly.I also like that I can take the screen down from the velcro in the off season to let them last longer. Also, you can tie them open if you don't want them in the way for some reason.Super happy with my purchase. Very good quality.

Read many reviews of these and hunted for the right size for our doorway. This one is decent quality and the velcro closures on the sides and in the center are nice features. Many reviews of these mention the magnets falling down in the center. When I received this one it was evident that there was nothing holding the closure magnets from falling down the "tube" of the center hem. My GF is handy with a sewing machine so she sewed the magnet in better by stitching perpendicular to center seam between each magnet. I recommend you do this. Installation was easy. Despite the instructions, I measured and adhered the velcro to the frame first, then hung the screen on it. This seemed easier than putting the velcro on the frame with the screen already attached to it. The top velcro is nice and wide and has stayed fairly well. I had to press it down a couple times the first week but now it's holding well. Only complaint is that it is slightly too short for my doorway so there is a 1.5" gap at the bottom, but the next size up would have been 9" too long. Width is perfect. Great buy for the price.
