I buy a new one of these every year.. this is the worry one out of last 5 years.. weak magnets. I’m going to keep because it was cheap but I’m ordering another from another seller and hope I get a good one second time around.

I purchased these door magnets to keep bugs out, hoping for a simple solution, but the magnets frequently fail to stay closed, leaving the doors open and allowing flies to enter.

I got this mesh screen magnetic curtain to keep out insects. The magnets work very well for closing. It is rather thin but it seems to have a good sturdiness to it. The strips are easy to place on the door and it velcros on easily. Not sure how long it will last given the thinness of it.

The quality on this was quite surprising, the adhesive isn’t necessarily perfect, but using a staple gun to make sure it’s secure it works pretty well. The magnets hold, and when you go through it, it definitely closes properly Extremely easy to tie up when you want it out-of-the-way and have it down whenever you’re using it. The size is perfect fit as intended. I would have to say it certainly durable compared to many other ones that I’ve seen. The material is rather nice. Extremely happy with it, the only thing I had an issue with it was just installing it was a little bit difficult. It’s not as easy as it looks. But once installed properly looks amazing and works great.

Thought for under 20 I would buy it to try it. It took minutes to install and it's working great. Follow the instructions in regards to arching the top piece of velcro. Don't follow the instructions where it says yo put the velcro on the screening material. Install the velcro to the door frame THEN install the screen

This is a cool item—very easy to install and way cheaper than a screen door. I love that people and pets can just breeze through with no effort, but bugs, lacking the needed strength, are stuck outside—score!Installation was a breeze. Just remember to use alcohol pads or something to clean the door frame for good adhesion. The Velcro is strong and very forgiving (I didn't have it lined up perfectly at first), and I like that I didn't have to screw or nail anything to get this installed.The package also included a little bag of "installation test accessories" (see photo) for test fitting, a more temporary installation, or to make adjustments—a very thoughtful inclusion. There were also some super long thumbtack-type fasteners in a solid container in case you want or need to hammer it into the door frame. I didn't have to use either of these items as I have installed this kind of screen before, but I still appreciate that they were in the box.The seal in the center with the magnets is very good, and the screen material seems durable and well-made. It's fun to leave the kitchen door open on nice evenings for some fresh air without a million mosquitoes coming in to chill. Have you ever spent an hour trying to kill some random wasp that got in? Well, I have. These kinds of screens leave very little opportunity for bugs to get in, even compared to the regular swinging-type door since it really only opens enough for you to move through it, then automatically seals back up.Big like on this item!

I've had a few of these now as we move alot but always get mosquito screens. The velcro application was as easy as any other one I've used and it stayed put through all sorts of weather. I do like that this one has the little velcro tie-ups on each side so you could keep the screen open if you needed. The magnets are strong and I had no issues with the screen automatically connecting after anyone walks through. Definitely recommend - this is a safe buy.
