I picked up a Wahoo Kickr Snap used but it did not have a skewer that I could replace on my Trek Bike. That skewer had a plastic cap which would not hold up on the trainer. This fit perfectly and works.

Great product so far, and accomplished what I was seeking:1. I got a separate wheel for my trainer rides, and I now longer have to take off my quick release skewer from my outside tire I want to do a trainer ride2. My trainer clamps were tearing up my quick release I use for my outside riding tire, and this lets that wear be done to something else

Purchased this quick release mechanism to use in a (the one that came with the trainer was stolen along with the rest of my bike--they may have actually been after the bike, but you can't be too sure these days).Quick release fits perfectly, and works great in the trainer. From now on I'll be taking the quick release out when I take my new bike out--don't want my bike to be as much of a target, what with thieves out there stealing entire bikes just to get this shiny quick release skewer!If you are a serious rider, this quick release is quite heavy--compared to what will come stock with a nice wheel, but changing these out is a snap, so no worries there.Update: Okay, someone stole the back tire off my bike (with this release attached to it) off my car. I can only assume thieves are after the quick-release at this point. Strange--I mean, it's a nice quick release, but not THAT nice. I purchased another one of these quick releases to go with my new back wheel. Good times!

I bought a used Ascent brand bike trainer that didn't come with a replacement skewer and I didn't want to use the one that came with my bike's really high end wheel, so I ordered this one.For the price it's a great value. It feels solid, well-built. Fits my bike and the trainer perfectly. I've put a few hours on it already and it seems to be holding well.Highly recommended.

This ended up working for me even though it's not significantly longer than my standard skewer was.I needed to add a kids trailer mount to the rear of my hybrid Trek bike, but it already had a skewer that was just barely long enough for the frame and 8 gear rings. I bought this hoping it would be 10mm longer than the stock one but it was only about 5. It does seem secure at the moment so I think it will work.Approximate width I needed was 155-160mm total. Locked length, measured from the inside of the lever side, down to the end of the threads is 166mm.The captive lever mechanism itself seems solid.The only minus I've seen so far, other than not quite having the extra length I was hoping for, is that the springs are not captive to the end pieces. They can move freely along the bar which isn't a problem once attached it's just a bit less convenient during assembly. However, this might allow it a few extra threads to secure it in place so this could be a positive.
